Who would get up for pleasure for Morning <a title=\"Glossary\" href=\"http:\/\/tanner.westminster.org.uk\/?page_id=21#prep\" target=\"_blank\">Prep<\/a> on a morning like this morning it was unspeakable, foggy and cold.  There has been a <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Pea_soup_fog\" target=\"_blank\">bad yellow fog<\/a> all day and though one could see across the yard, the Abbey was quite invisible which always means it\u2019s a bad fog. <\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Who\u2019s Who?\" href=\"http:\/\/tanner.westminster.org.uk\/?page_id=23#clarke\" target=\"_blank\">Clarke<\/a> asked me to send over to the <a title=\"Glossary\" href=\"http:\/\/tanner.westminster.org.uk\/?page_id=21#armoury\" target=\"_blank\">Armoury<\/a> any odd kit there might be in the House, so we had a turn out and I \u2018halled\u2019 and told <a title=\"Who\u2019s Who?\" href=\"http:\/\/tanner.westminster.org.uk\/?page_id=23#cargill\" target=\"_blank\">Cargill<\/a>, who came, to fetch two others and carry the things across, there was a pause and whispered conference \u2018you go, no you\u2019 so when they came back I irately told him to fetch everybody in <a title=\"Glossary\" href=\"http:\/\/tanner.westminster.org.uk\/?page_id=21#hall\">Hall<\/a> as I expected to be instantly obeyed!  I then made them all take the things.<\/p>\n<p>At tea today <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Roller_skates\" target=\"_blank\">roller-skating<\/a> \u2014 a fine topic of conversation lasting ever so long!&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Oh!
