{"id":663,"date":"1909-02-01T00:00:59","date_gmt":"1909-01-31T23:00:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tanner.westminster.org.uk\/?p=663"},"modified":"2013-10-07T10:15:56","modified_gmt":"2013-10-07T09:15:56","slug":"monday-february-1st","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/tanner.westminster.org.uk\/?p=663","title":{"rendered":"Monday February 1st"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>. <a title=\"Who\u2019s Who?\" href=\"http:\/\/tanner.westminster.org.uk\/?page_id=23#low\">Low<\/a> tells me his is starting a great innovation up-<a title=\"Glossary\" href=\"http:\/\/tanner.westminster.org.uk\/?page_id=21#ashburnham\">Ashburnham<\/a> by shouting \u2018Under\u2019 when he wants a <a title=\"Glossary\" href=\"http:\/\/tanner.westminster.org.uk\/?page_id=21#fag\">fag<\/a>, he is rather wondering how the House will take it!  No <a title=\"Glossary\" href=\"http:\/\/tanner.westminster.org.uk\/?page_id=21#station\">Station<\/a> again today, this makes a week with no Station.  We had a singing practice tonight and I found myself singing quite lustily.  <a title=\"Who\u2019s Who?\" href=\"http:\/\/tanner.westminster.org.uk\/?page_id=23#ranalow\">Ranalow<\/a> as usual very crushed.<\/p>\n<p>Later I went and called on Miss MacLennan whom I at last found in, I like her very much, she gave me tea (she was alone) and we talked for some time.  She said that she hoped to see something of me at Cambridge, she always stays every year with Sir Charles Darwin there ever since she was a child and she hoped I would come and see her.  While we were talking Miss Collet came in, a cousin of my cousins, and I did not stay much longer. <\/p>\n<p>When I went into <a title=\"Glossary\" href=\"http:\/\/tanner.westminster.org.uk\/?page_id=21#chiswicks\">Inner<\/a> this morning I was startled by a scrabbling in a cardboard box which of course later proved to be one of <a title=\"Who\u2019s Who?\" href=\"http:\/\/tanner.westminster.org.uk\/?page_id=23#hobson\">Hobson<\/a>\u2019s treasures, a poor little blind sparrow, who subsequently expired during the day.  I may say it was in a very weak state when Hobson found it and it was more merciful to take it than leave it for the cat to get!  I suppose it will be dissected tomorrow. <\/p>\n<p>Little <a title=\"Who\u2019s Who?\" href=\"http:\/\/tanner.westminster.org.uk\/?page_id=23#tunnecliffe\">Tunnecliffe<\/a> came back today for the first time this term; he has had chickenpox. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>.
